Women's Hockey Shut Out by Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. -- Gretchen Bowe netted a hat trick plus
added two assists in Amherst's College 10-0 shutout over the
University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team on
Sunday afternoon in Amherst, MA.
Danielle Williams added three goals for Amherst, and Alison White assisted on four tallies in the victory.
Diana Cohen (South Salem, NY) suffered the loss in net for UConn stopping 28 shots on goal, while Heidi Alexander made 10 saves in net. Amherst outshot UConn, 38-10.
Connecticut will travel to the College of the Holy Cross on Thursday, February 15 for a game slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. in Worcester, MA.
