UConn Competes at Fast Track Invitational

BOSTON, MA (February 15) - The University of Connecticut men’s indoor track and field team competed at the tough Fast Track Invitational at the Boston University Track and Tennis Pavilion on Saturday.
The Huskies earned four first-place finishes at the invitational on Saturday. On the track side, Joel Legare (Holden, MA) won the 800 meter (1:51.24) and Marcus Siwemuke (Sierra Vista, AZ) won the 400 meter developmental dash (49.80). In the field events, Mike Diebler (Monroe, NY) won the high jump at a height of 2.11m (6-11.00) and Jake Radzevich (Hampstead, NH) edged teammate Joe DiCola (Courtland Manor, NY) in the pole vault at 4.80m (15-09.00) to 4.70m (15-05.00), respectively.
The Huskies return to action on Feb. 22-23 at the BIG EAST Indoor Championship Meet in Syracuse, NY.
