Huskies Lose 6-1 to Rutgers

PISCATAWAY, NJ (Feb. 9, 2003) - The University of Connecticut women’s tennis team lost its first BIG EAST dual of the season 6-1 at Rutgers. The Huskies only win was by April Dixon (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) at the No. 6 singles spot. UConn with the loss falls to 5-3 on the season and 0-1 in the BIG EAST.
The Huskies return to action on Fri., Feb. 14 when they travel to take on BIG EAST opponent Syracuse.
