A Statement from the family of A.J. Price

The family of UCONN freshman basketball player, A.J. Price, would like to gratefully acknowledge the well wishes that they have received from so many people during this difficult time. They are particularly appreciative of the respect that has been shown for the privacy of A.J., as well as for them.
The family has agreed to release the following statement about his condition:
AJ has suffered an intracranial hemorrhage for which he is being continuously evaluated. He is responding to therapy and is slowly showing improvement.
There is no more information available at this time. We are thankful for your continued respect for A.J. and his family’s privacy.
