Olsen Earns Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. (Nov. 29) -- University of Connecticut mens hockey senior captain Tim Olsen (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) was named Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday. Olsen earns his second weekly honor of the season and his sixth of his career.

Olsen led UConn to its first conference victory of the season with two goals and an assist for three points in a 5-3 win over Bentley last Tuesday, including the game-winning tally.

The Huskies continue their current homestand this weekend when they face Canisius on Friday, Dec. 3, and Army on Dec. 4, with both games slated for 7:05 p.m. starts.
