UConns Andrea Mainiero Earns ECAC Honor

Mainiero led the Huskies to a 2-0 week, with a 7-0 shutout of Quinnipiac Sept. 25 and a 6-0 shutout of Louisville Sept. 30. The sophomore keeper recorded eight saves against Louisville. Mainiero has started every game in net for UConn this season and sports a 1.09 GAA and has tallied four shut outs.
Mainiero was also named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week.
