Men's Track Alumni Invitational Heptathlon Day 1 Results

STORRS, Conn. (January 3, 2008) - The first day of the UConn Alumni Invitational heptathlon event is complete. The nine participating athletes competed in four events, the 60-meter dash, the long jump, the shot put and the high jump. Former Husky All-BIG EAST performer Raffael Craig, representing the Shore Athletic Club is in first with 3,261 points. Freshman Aaron King (Wharton, N.J.) was the top Husky finisher. He is currently in second place with 2,880 points.

The heptathlon concludes tomorrow with the 60-meter high hurdles, the pole vault and the 1,000-meter run at 12:00 p.m. The track and field events will be held at the Greer Field House on Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m.
