Erickson Named To Atlantic Hockey Second Team

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - University of Connecticut senior defenseman Sean Erickson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) has been named to the Atlantic Hockey Second Team following the 2008-09 season. Erickson finished the year with five goals and 13 assists for 18 total points.
This is his third time making an Atlantic Hockey team during his time at UConn. Erickson was a part of the AHA Rookie team during his freshman season, the Third Team during his sophomore campaign and this year made the Second Team.
His five goals and 13 assists put him 10th in Atlantic Hockey among scoring defensemen. Four of his goals and nine of his assists came in Atlantic Hockey games.
Erickson finished his career with 14 goals and 60 assists. His 60 assists put him in third place on the UConn Career Assists (DI) list while his 74 total points put him in ninth place on the UConn Career Points (DI) list.
Most recently, Erickson signed with the Trenton Devils of the ECHL and has already appeared in one game for the New Jersey Devils affiliate.
