Knight Advances to Finals of NCAA Championship

NEW ORLEANS, La. - University of Connecticut women's track and field standout high jumper Carin Knight won her flight during preliminary competition on Wednesday afternoon to advance to the NCAA Championship Final set for Friday at 4:00 p.m.
Knight, a two-time All-American in the high jump, finished with a mark of 1.77 meters (5' 9 3/4") to take first place in her flight during the preliminaries, putting her into a position to compete for the National Championship title in the women's high jump.
