No. 5 Field Hockey Travels to Northeastern Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. - The fifth-ranked University of Connecticut field hockey team will look to to capture win No. 11 when the Huskies travel to Cambridge, Mass. to square-off against Northeastern on Wednesday, October 13. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
NU comes into the contest with a 6-7-0 overall record but the team has outscored the opposition by a 27-22 count. Northeastern is led by Carolyn Malloy, who has registered five goals and eight assists for a team-high 18 points. Crystal Poland has scored a team-best seven goals, including one game-winner.
UConn comes into the contest with a 10-3 overall mark. Last week, the Huskies defeated Yale and Georgetown and lost by a 3-1 score to defending national champion and top-ranked North Carolina.
UConn is 19-14 all-time against Northeastern and Connecticut has won the last five contests between the two squads. In fact, UConn has outscored NU 19-3 in those five meetings.
