UNH and the Huskies met once earlier this season, with the Wildcats coming out on top of the 2-1 decision. Freshman Jocelyn Slattery (Hugo, Minn.) recorded the UConn goal against UNH, while Garcia made 21 saves for the Huskies.
Following the UNH game on Sunday, the Huskies will be hosting their annual "Skate With The Huskies" event. All kids ages 12 and under are invited to bring their skates to the Freitas Ice Forum and skate with the Huskies! It is a great opportunity for team building and skill development and you can experience what it's like to skate with players at the collegiate level.
