Chloe Hunnable Named BIG EAST Offensive Player Of the Week

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut's freshman forward Chloe Hunnable was named this week's BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The Chelmsford, England native tallied three goals and one assist on the week. It is her second BIG EAST accolade of her career.
Hunnable led the No. 4 Huskies to a 2-0 weekend, which included a 10-0 victory over Georgetown and a 2-1 come back win over Virginia on Sunday. She scored two goals in only two shots in UConn's win over Georgetown. Hunnable scored the tying goal against Virginia before assisting Marie Elena Bolles in the game-winning shot with less than three minutes left in the 2nd half. Hunnable now leads the Huskies with 12 goals and is second on the team with 27 points.
Hunnable and the Huskies return to Storrs on Sunday, October 16 to host Princeton at 2 p.m.
