The Huskies started the season slow at 0-4-1 but have since gone 4-1, outscoring teams 14-10 during the five-game stretch. The lone loss of that period came at Bentley.
Connecticut has held serve at home this year, sitting at 3-0-1 with victories over Air Force (twice) and Sacred Heart as well as an impressive 2-2 tie against then-No. 8 Union in the home opener on October 27. The Huskies have also split with Hockey East opposition, falling at UMass in the season opener, 4-1, before outplaying Merrimack in a 3-1 road victory on November 10.
Canisius enters the weekend series at 3-6-4 (2-2-2 AHA), most recently downing AIC at home, 4-1.
