2015-16 (Sophomore Season): Started and played in two games…Got his first collegiate start in game two at Alabama Huntsville (Oct. 10), making 24 saves in a 5-2 loss…Earned a start at home against Brown and made 30 saves to earn his first career victory, 3-1 (Feb. 2)…Had a 3.02 goals against average and a .900 save percentage in 119:02 minutes played.
2014-15 (Freshman Season): Red-shirt season...Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
Before UConn: Played for the Connecticut Jr. Rangers of the USPHL Premier...recorded 842 saves and posted a .908 save percentage in 37 games played...won Hockey Night in Boston with Top Goaltender Award...Spent the 2012-13 season with the Philadelphia Revolution of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL)...Had a .905 save percentage in 23 games.
Personal: Born Feburary 2, 1993...Stephen Walter Thulin is the son of Walter and Robin Thulin...Has a sister Jessica who is a junior on the Colby College women's hockey team...He is a finance major.
