Huskies Conclude 2016 Outdoor Season on Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The UConn women's track and field team concluded a successful 2016 outdoor season on Saturday at the final day of competition at the 2016 NCAA East Regionals in Jacksonville, Fla.
In total, the Huskies boasted eight individual NCAA East Regional qualifiers. For more information on the Connecticut student-athletes in Florida, please CLICK HERE. The top-12 finishers in each event advanced to the NCAA Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. On June 8-11.
Senior Odrine Belot rounded out a standout career in the triple jump, turning in a 12.81m leap, which earned 21st overall.

On Friday, Taylor Anderson, who qualified for the 100m dash quarterfinals, closed out a stellar junior campaign by taking 18th on Friday with a 11.54 second finish in the event.
