No. 5 UConn to Host No. 19 Liberty in Home Finale

STORRS, Conn. – The No. 5 UConn field hockey team (12-3, 5-0 BIG EAST) will take on No. 19 Liberty (10-4, 5-0) in the Huskies' final regular season home game at George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex on Thursday at 6p.m.
Battle for the BIG EAST
The Huskies and Flames are the only two remaining undefeated teams in conference play. Liberty is hosting the BIG EAST Championship on Nov. 2 and 4.
Last Time Out
The Huskies narrowly fell to No. 1 North Carolina, 2-1, last Sunday. Sophomore Kourtney Kennedy tallied her first career goal vs. the Tar Heels. Redshirt freshman Cheyenne Sprecher made seven saves in goal.
Scouting the Flames
Liberty is coming off a 2-1 win over Georgetown last Friday. Aguenda Moroni leads the Flames with 20 goals, 10 assists and 50 points. Allison Schaefer has started every game in goal and holds a 1.90 goals-against average and .679 save percentage.
