WSOC Finishes Play At Morrone Stadium

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team plays its final two games in Morrone Stadium history this weekend against No. 22 Memphis on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct 21 at 1 p.m. on Senior Day vs. Tulsa.
The team has played at Morrone since the program started play in 1979 and have posted a gaudy 330-69-28 record in Storrs. Fans coming to the games should be aware of road closures on Jim Calhoun Way. The road will be closed from Alumni Drive to I-Lot. To access I-Lot please use Separatist Road.
The Huskies are coming off a dominant 4-0 win at Cincinnati to grab their first road win of the season. Sophomore Sophia Danyko-Kulchycky recorded a hat trick and the UConn defense captured its first shutout of the 2018 season.
On Sunday, the Huskies will celebrate the 2018 senior class with a pre-game ceremony that will honor the five UConn seniors; Emily Costanzo, Kim Urbanek, Heidi Druehl, Liane Keegans and Elena Santos.
The senior class was a part of two NCAA Tournament appearances, two American Athletic Conference regular season titles and the 2016 American Conference Tournament Championship.
The women's soccer team will celebrate its final game at Morrone Stadium at halftime with numerous former players being honored and bidding farewell to their home field.

Jersey Night: Any youth 18 & younger who wears a jersey to the game, receives free admission
