Parker earns AAC Honor Roll status for third time this season

Posted 41 total kills against Memphis and Tulane
STORRS, Conn.—For the third time this season freshman outside hitter Caylee Parker's play has earned her a spot on the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll. Parker aided the Huskies in going 1-1 over the weekend, as UConn earned a redemptive five set victory over the Memphis Tigers and tussling with the Tulane Green Wave.
Parker was highly active on both sides of the floor, recording a total of 41 kills for the weekend with 23 of them coming in the match against Memphis where she hit .208. She also added a pair of service aces to each contest. Playing in 10 sets, she tabbed 4.10 kills per set and 4.75 points per set. Defensively, she ended the weekend with a total of 26 digs, a solo block, and three block assists.
On the season Parker has a played in a total of 99 sets, posted 387 kills, 20 service aces, 243 digs, 39 total blocks, with 428.5 points. In the AAC she is No. 3 in kills and No. 4 in points, as of Tuesday, Nov. 6th.
From the AAC...
"Averaging 4.10 kills and 2.60 digs per set, Parker recorded two more double-doubles over the weekend through a pair of five-set matches. She had 23 kills and 12 digs in a 3-2 win over Memphis and recorded 18 kills and 14 digs against Tulane. She has 11 double-doubles in her rookie campaign."
