Honoring our seniors leading up to senior night
STORRS, Conn.—Senior night for the UConn women's volleyball team is quickly approaching, with only three days left on the countdown. Senior defensive specialist Kennedy Arundel is first up on our honoree list.
Kennedy is a native of Chicago, Ill. She was one of two Huskies to play in all 32 matches last season and led the team with 417 digs with a career high of 59 assists. Some of her accolades include; being named American Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 28, 2017 after being named to the St. John's All-Tournament team. Her 1,000th career dig came in a match against UCF on Nov. 19, 2017.
Much like our other seniors Kennedy has devoted her life not only to her studies and UConn but also to the game of volleyball. Watch the video below as Kennedy addresses the sport she loves in her edition of, "Dear Volleyball".
