Senior Tributes: Kennedy Arundel
STORRS, Conn.—Senior night for the UConn women's volleyball team is quickly approaching, with only two days left on the countdown. Senior outside hitter Danielle Cabel is our second honoree on the list.
Danielle is a native of Bettendorf, Iowa. She joined the Husky family after transferring in from Iowa and has devoted the rest of her career to the UConn volleyball team. Danielle opened up the 2018 season against Wright State with 17 kills. Some of her accolades include; being named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Award List as the Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 10, 2016 and is currently tied for tenth in school history for her hitting percentage.
Much like our other seniors Danielle has devoted her life not only to her studies and UConn but also to the game of volleyball. Watch the video below as Danielle addresses the sport she loves in her edition of, "Dear Volleyball".
