STORRS, Conn.—Senior night for the UConn women's volleyball team is quickly approaching, with only one day left on the countdown. Senior outside hitter Iman McGary is the fourth honoree on the list.
Iman is a native of Rockford, Ill. She followed up her break out junior season with a spectacular senior campaign, where she leads the team in service aces with 21 and is second on the team in kills at 211. On her career she has a total of 604 kills, 51 service aces, 500 digs, and 63 total blocks. She was also named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll recently, when she posted a double-double with 15 kills and 14 digs against USF.
Much like our other seniors Iman has devoted her life not only to her studies and UConn but also to the game of volleyball. Watch the video below as Iman addresses the sport she loves in her edition of, "Dear Volleyball".
