Football Drops Final Road Game, 55-21

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The UConn football team suffered its eighth-straight defeat in a 55-21 loss to ECU on Satuday night at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
The Huskies got off to a great start offensively by scoring touchdowns on the first three possessions of the game.
David Pindell hooked uip with Tyler Davis for two touchdown passes on a 41 and 13-yard strikes to lift UConn to an early 14-7 lead..For Davis, it was his first career game scoring multiple touchdowns.
Pindell tossed his third touchdown pass of the game to Hergy Mayala, a 6-yard pass.
The Pirates responded to each UConn score with touchdowns of their own. With the score tied 21-21 midway through the second quarter, ECU scored 34 unanswered points to pull away with a 55-21 win.
Santana Sterling led the Huskies with a career-high 14 tackles.
UConn returns to Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field for its final game of the 2018 season on Saturday, Nov. 24 vs. Temple.
