No. 1 Huskies to Face Saint Louis Tuesday

ST. LOUIS – The newly No. 1 UConn women's basketball team (7-0) takes on Saint Louis (4-4) on CBS Sports Network Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and the UConn/IMG Radio Network.
The Huskies' game vs. the Billikens serves as a homecoming game for Napheesa Collier, who is a native of O'Fallon, Mo. She is having her high school jersey retired at Incarnate Word Academy Monday evening.
UConn is fresh off an 89-71 win over then-No. 1 Notre Dame Sunday. The Huskies were led by freshman Christyn Williams, who had 28 points in the game. All five starters scored in double digits vs. the Irish. The Huskies moved to 21-3 all-time in games played between the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams.
Following her efforts at Notre Dame, Williams was named the American Athletic Conference and espnW Player of the Week.
UConn moved to No. 1 in Monday's Associated Press poll. The Huskies have been ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll a record 237 times.
This is the first-ever meeting between UConn and Saint Louis. The Billikens are coming off a 63-56 win over SIUE last Saturday. This season, Jordyn Frantz leads SLU with 15.0 points per game while Evan Zars leads the team with 5.4 rebounds per game.
