No. 3 UConn, UCF Set for Sunday Showdown

STORRS, Conn. – The third-ranked UConn women's basketball team (17-1, 6-0 American) faces UCF (17-2, 7-0) Sunday in the XL Center. The game will be aired on ESPN2 and the UConn/IMG Radio Network.
The Huskies and Knights are the final two teams who are unbeaten in American Athletic Conference play this year. This is UConn's first game in the XL Center since Dec. 8.
Sunday is Kids' Day in Hartford. From 2:30-4 p.m. in the exhibition hall, kids can participate in games, activities and giveaways before tipoff.
Fans at Sunday's game will have a chance to win a jigsaw puzzle featuring seniors Napheesa Collier and Katie Lou Samuelson.

Collier enters Sunday's game with 1,940 career points and 989 career assists. She can become the fifth Husky to cross the 2,000-point and 1,000-rebound thresholds.
UCF comes to Hartford off a 61-58 overtime win against ECU last Wednesday. This season, Kay Kay Wright leads the Knights with 18.7 points and 3.6 assists per game. Nyala Shuler leads the team with 7.7 rebounds per game.
UConn is 8-0 all-time vs. UCF with all meetings coming in American Athletic Conference play.
