No. 3 Huskies Return Home to Host Cincinnati

STORRS, Conn. – The third-ranked UConn women's basketball team (12-1, 1-0 American) plays at home for the first time in 2019 as the Huskies take on Cincinnati (9-5, 1-0) Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion. The game will be broadcast on SNY/ESPN3 and the UConn/IMG Radio Network.
All Connecticut community college and high school students can purchase $5 student tickets Wednesday for the Huskies' Be a UConn Student Night.
UConn hasn't played in Connecticut since Dec. 8, 2018. The Huskies return to Gampel for the first time since the team's season opener on Nov. 11, 2018.
The Huskies opened American Athletic Conference play with an 81-61 win at Houston Sunday. All five starters scored in double digits, led by seniors Katie Lou Samuelson (19) and Napheesa Collier (18).
UConn returns home after opening the season with just three home games. The Huskies have played six of their last seven games on the road.
Connecticut is 91-0 all-time in American Athletic Conference regular season play.
The Huskies are 19-0 all-time vs. the Bearcats. Cincinnati opened American play with a 69-57 win over SMU. This season, IImar'I Thomas leads the Bearcats with 12.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
