WSOC Drops Road Contest To Tulsa, 2-0

TULSA, Okla. - The UConn women's soccer team suffered its fourth-straight defeat with a 2-0 loss to Tulsa on Sunday afternoon.
The Huskies (4-7-1, 0-4 American) outshot the Golden Hurricane 16-11 but were unable to find the back of the net.
Randi Palacios recorded her third penalty kick save of the season in the 8th minute to keep the game knotted at zeroes.
Kess Elmore and Duda Santin combined on 11 of the Huskies shots.Â
Elmore nearly found an equalizer in the 80th minute but a team save for Tulsa helped the home side maintain a 1-0 advantage.Â
UConn returns home to Dillon Stadium to face Houston on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m.
