STORRS, Conn.—The UConn women's track and field team will compete in the three-day Penn Relays. The meet is in its 125th year and is one of the most historic events in collegiate track and field, dating all the way back to its origin year—1895.
UConn will take on an array of student-athletes at this meet from almost every state across America in addition to colleges in Ontario, the Bahamas, Guyana, and Jamaica.
Last year at the meet, the Huskies broke a number of school records and set a plethora of new personal records. UConn had tremendous success in the shot put, sprint medley, pole vault, discus, hammer throw, 10,000 meter, and 4x400 meter relay.
