PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the third consecutive season, UConn senior Jimmy Hervol has been selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Conference Men's Golf Team, announced Wednesday by the league.
Hervol (Hopkinton, Mass.), who is coming off a Top 10 finish (eighth) in last week's AAC Championship, is one of 11 golfers honored by a vote of the 10 league coaches. He had an outstanding golf season, breaking his own UConn record for scoring, with a per-round average of 71.06 for 32 rounds. Hervol had eight Top Ten and nine Top 20 Finishes in UConn's 11 events this year. He was the low UConn golfer in six events.
