Five Huskies Named AHCA Division I All-American Scholars

STORRS, Conn. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) released its Third Annual AHCA All-American Scholars list for Division I hockey and five members of the UConn women's hockey team were recognized.
Rising seniors Catherine Crawley and Emily Reid, junior Taylor Wabick, and sophomores Danielle Fox and Samantha Carpentier-Yelle each earned nods to the Academic All-Star team for their scholastic accomplishments during the 2018-19 season.
The list, which features nearly 500 DI student-athletes, recognizes varsity ice hockey players who achieved a 3.6 GPA each semester and participated in 40 percent of their respective team's games, with a small number of participation waivers granted for injury or back-up goaltenders.
