Leading the Pack:
Ray Reid leads the Huskies in his 23rd season as the head coach. A four-time National Coach of the Year and National Champion, Reid boasts the second-highest winning percentage (.742) among active coaches. Reid needs just one victory to reach the 300 career-win mark at UConn and is five wins away from 450 career successes.
Last Time Out:
The Huskies wrapped up preseason play with a strong performance, running away with a 3-1 victory over Boston University Saturday night at Al-Marzook Athletic Field. All three tallies came in the UConn-dominated second half, with Moussa Wade, Robin Lapert and Ibrahima Diop each finding the back of the net.
