STORRS, Conn. – The fourth-ranked UConn field hockey team (5-1) hits the road for a pair of games this weekend at Quinnipiac (1-4) and No. 6 Princeton (). The Huskies open BIG EAST play against the Bobcats Friday at 3 p.m. before taking on the Tigers Sunday at noon.

Last Time Out
Sophomore Abby Gooderham scored twice to lead UConn past No. 25 Michigan State last Sunday. Both of Gooderham's goals came off penalty corners. Redshirt sophomore Cheyenne Sprecher notched her third shutout of the season against the Spartans.

Road Warriors
The Huskies are back on the road this weekend after traveling to Michigan last week. UConn has already played four games away from home this season, holding a 3-1 record.

Scouting the Bobcats
Quinnipiac is coming off a 2-0 loss to Hofstra on Monday. Bianka Strubbe leads the Bobcats with three goals and seven points this season. Hedda Biermann-Ratjen and Mack Vorel have split time in cage. Biermann-Ratjen has started the last two games and holds a 1.70 goals-against average and a .792 save percentage.

Scouting the Tigers
Princeton is coming off a 2-1 win over No. 17 Penn State last Sunday. The Tigers have faced four ranked opponents to start the season and take on No. 21 Rutgers before playing UConn. Hannah Davey leads Princeton with four goals and 10 points this season. Grace Baylis has started every game in goal and holds a 3.17 goals-against average and a .625 save percentage.
