No. 4 FH Defeats No. 6 Princeton in OT, 2-1

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 4 ranked field hockey team traveled on the road to No. 6 Princeton and defeated the Tigers 2-1 in overtime on Sunday afternoon.
Svea Boker scored the game-winner at 64:04 in the first overtime period to earn the Huskies its sixth win against a ranked opponent this season.Â
UConn (7-1, 1-0 Big East) outshot the Tigers 15-11 while drawing six corners during the match.
Kourtney Kennedy got the Huskies on the board first with a tally at 28.40 in the second quarter. Princeton tied the match with just over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to force the contest into extra time.
Cheyenne Sprecher made eight saves in the victory.
The Huskies return home on Friday, September 27 for a Big East matchip with Old Dominion at 3 p.m.
