Volleyball announces 2019 promotional schedule

Special events & giveaways for home games
STORRS, Conn.—The UConn volleyball schedule is excited to announce the promotional schedule for the 2019 women's volleyball season. The fall will be highlighted by a variety of promotions including a pizza giveaway for students and a post-match meet-and-greet with the team, along with a number of student giveaways.

Thursday, September 5th vs. Iona
"Bad pizza topping night": pizza giveaway for students
Friday, September 6th vs. Boston College
"Friday night shoot-around": students can shoot hoops after the match on the floor in Gampel in addition to receiving a t-shirt every time a UConn volleyball player tallies a service ace.
Saturday, September 7th vs. CCSU
"Family day": post-match meet the team opportunities.
Thursday, September 19th vs. Holy Cross
"Donation drive for animal shelters": a part of the community efforts for the Dog Pound Challenge.
Friday, September 20th vs. Dartmouth
"Dog adoptions": a part of the community efforts for the Dog Pound Challenge, also catch the team on the NCAA Instagram for their takeover.
Saturday, September 21st vs. Providence
"Dop adoptions": a part of the community efforts for the Dog Pound Challenge.
Sunday, October 6th vs. Tulane
"Alumni Game": in-game alumni recognition in addition to a surprise giveaway.
Sunday, October 13th vs. East Carolina
"Parents weekend": post-match clinic/autographs and junior husky day.
Friday, October 25th vs. Wichita State
"Halloween": enter to win a Halloween themed giveaway.
Sunday, October 27th vs. Tulsa
"Halloween": trick or treat hosted by UConn volleyball.
Friday, November 8th vs. Temple
"Field trip day": youth activities at match and post-match.
Thursday, November 14th vs. USF
"Lace It Up Night": recognition of current patients and survivors.
Saturday, November 16th vs. UCF
"Last game of the regular season": possible ticket giveaway.
