SwimDive Celebrates Senior Day on Saturday

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn swimming and diving team will host Senior Day on Saturday, January 18 vs. Dartmouth at 1 p.m. at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. Senior ceremonies will begin at 12:45 p.m.
The Huskies will celebrate 13 seniors inlcuding junior Erin Clifford, who will graduate this year. The other 12 seniors include: Katie Breault, Kamrin Dawkins, Holly Parker, Sona Pinela, Brazil Rule, Kiley Stotler, Megan Wenman, Karl Bishop, Will Kearsey, Kyle Kennedy, Cooper Knapp and Doug Quagliato.
Returning from training and winter break the Huskies are expecting fast times as they enter their final home dual meet of the season. UConn faced a quality Dartmouth team a year ago and were able to snag a close win on the men's side, 122-115, while the women's team suffered a 154-83 defeat.Â
This senior class on the men's side was a part of the highest finish in program history in The American Conference with a third place spot in 2019. The women finished as high as fourth during 2018 and both teams will look to eclipse those placements in the coming weeks at the 2020 American Championships.
The Huskies will have a quick turnaround with their final road dual meet at Villanova nex Saturday, January 25.
