Harkness Secures Hockey East Co-Player of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's hockey sophomore Viki Harkness garnered Hockey East Co-Player of the Week honors for March 2, as announced by the conference office this afternoon
Harkness played a crucial role in the Huskies' three-game triumph over Boston College in the Hockey East Quarterfinals, tallying three points on two goals and one assist over the weekend.
The Berwick, Ontario native picked up a point in each game for UConn, providing an assist on Jessie Aney's goal in Game 1 and the insurance goal in UConn's 2-0 shutout over the Eagles in Game 2, before netting the tying goal in UConn's thrilling 2-1 win in Game 3.
