STORRS, Conn. – UConn field hockey is partnering up with Sideline Sports Analytics to develop player-centered analytical pathways for its program.
The consultancy service run by Olympic coaches and Olympic medalist Lukas Fieber and Aditya Pasarakonda supports professional teams in Germany and around the globe. Bundesliga soccer clubs like Schalke 04, 1899 Hoffenheim and EHL field hockey clubs trust their expertise. Fieber, who is no stranger to intercollegiate athletics (3rd place at 2016 ACC tournament with Wake Forest as their assistant coach) describes their innovative consultancy service: "Our passion is to create easy pathways for coaches and players to use video and elite analysis to their advantage. We provide an all-inclusive package from coaches education to programming game statistics for Sportscode and other software."
The partnership with UConn field hockey focuses on creating custom analysis tools, which translate the program's DNA into information on gameday. "Lukas and Adi are the perfect fit for our program. They understand our needs as a coaching staff and their solutions will help us to continue improving our championship winning program." says Huskies head coach Paul Caddy.
UConn director of athletics David Benedict adds: "We are happy to be the first college program to partner up with Sideline Sports Analytics as I think this will provide a benefit to our student-athletes and coaches."
