Dickinson To Compete for Junior World Cup With Team USA

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. โ UConn senior Lindsay Dickinson has been named to the 18-athlete roster for the U.S. U-21 Women's National team that will compete in the upcoming FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup.
In August, Dickinson helped the U.S. win bronze at the Junior Pan American Championshipย to clinch a spot to the Junior World Cup.ย
ย The Junior World Cupย is set to take place December 5 to 16 in Potchefstroom, South Africa,ย
The Junior USWNT will take part in a pre-tournament holding camp from November 26 to 29 at Queens University in Charlotte, N.C. The following day the selected team will depart from Charlotte to make the trip to Potchefstroom, South Africa.
Although the official schedule has not yet been released, all matches of the Junior World Cup will be streamed live onย Watch.Hockey.
Due to theย initialย COVID-19 postponement, the age restrictionsย for the Junior Pan American Championshipย shifted toย reflect originally eligibleย athletes. For the Junior World Cup, only athletes born inย 2000 or later are eligible to compete and this eliminated Gianna Glatz from the original JPAC roster.
