Football Drops Final Road Game, 49-17

ORLANDO, Fla. - The UConn football team (1-10) dropped its final road game of the season, 49-17, at UCF on Saturday evening at the Bounce House.
The Huskies fell behind 28-0 in the second quarter before Nate Carter capped an eight-play, 74-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run.Â
After the Knights responded with a touchdown drive, the Huskies came right back with a one-yard touchdown run by quarterback Steven Krajewski. Krajewski and the UConn offense only needed 2:49 to cover 69 yards and make it 35-14.Â
Jay Rose doubled his previous career-high with 10 catches for 89 yards. Omar Fortt led the defense with nine tackles including a strip sack.
The Huskies will close out the regular season against No. 21 Houston (10-1) at Rentschler Field on Saturday, November 27 at 12 p.m. on CBSSN.Â
