Taylor Wabick Awarded Hockey East Defender Of The Week

STORRS, Conn. – Graduate student Taylor Wabick has been awarded Hockey East Defender of the week honors after her performance this past weekend vs. Boston University.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba native assisted on two goals Friday night including the eventual game winner scored by her sister Morgan Wabick. This brings her season total to nine assists for a total of nine points on the season.
Additionally, Taylor Wabick is a key member of the Huskies defense that only allowed one goal in two games.
The two wins helped the Huskies improve to 10-1 on the season, their best start in program history.
