No. 1 UConn Travels to Butler for Road Finale

STORRS, Conn. – The top-ranked UConn women's basketball team (19-1, 16-0 BIG EAST) competes in its final road game of the season at Butler (2-16, 2-14) Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The game will air on SNY and The River 105.9.
Freshman Nika Mühl scored a career-high 19 points and added five steals as UConn beat Creighton, 81-49, Thursday. Junior Christyn Williams notched 16 points while freshman Paige Bueckers had 13 points and nine assists. Junior Olivia Nelson-Ododa had her fifth double- double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
UConn won its 27th overall conference regular season championship – 20th as a member of the BIG EAST – with the win over Creighton. The Huskies will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament.
This is UConn's third straight road game at a school the Huskies have never visited before. UConn traveled to Xavier and Creighton for the first time in program history over the last week.
This is just the second all-time meeting between the Huskies and Bulldogs. The programs' first meeting came on Jan. 19, a 103-35 UConn win. Junior Olivia Nelson-Ododa led the Huskies with 18 points while sophomore Aubrey Griffin had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Butler is coming off a 73-61 win over Xavier on Monday. This season, Okako Adika leads the Bulldogs with 13.4 points per game. Head coach Kurt Godlevske is in his seventh season at Butler.
