Huskies Host SJU in Afternoon Tilt

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (2-1-1, 0-1-1 BE) will host the St. John's Red Storm (5-0, 2-0 BE) on Thursday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm at Morrone Stadium.
Last Time Out
Last time out for the Huskies they were held to a scoreless draw against Villanova on March 7th. UConn outshot the Wildcats 30-3 through regulation and overtime but were unable to find the back of the net. The Huskies are still looking for their first Big East win of the season.
St. John's enters Thursday's matchup after picking up a second conference win after defeating Seton Hall 2-1 on March 7th. The win over the Pirates was the second conference win for the Red Storm, who also beat Villanova 1-0 on March 4th.

The Huskies hold a 15-6-1 overall record against the Red Storm. The last time these two teams met, St. John's took a 1-0 victory in New Britain on September 1st, 2017. UConn also boasts a 9-2-1 record at home against the Red Storm.
