Football Heads to West Point to Take on Army

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut football team will make the short trip to West Point, N.Y. to take on Army at historic Michie Stadium on Saturday, September 18. Kick off is set for 12 p.m. and the contest will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Saturday's game will mark the eighth all-time meeting between the Huskies and the Black Knights, in a series that dates back to 1979. UConn is 5-2 all-time against Army and 2-2 in games played at Michie Stadium.
Sophomore linebacker Jackson Mitchell is tied nationally in total tackles with 29, including 2.0 tackles for a loss. He posted a career-high 15 tackles against Purdue on September 11 and added 11 in the contest against Holy Cross.
