WSOC Faces Off Against Brown & Syracuse

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's soccer team (3-1) host a pair of tough Northeast opponents this weekend with matches against Brown on Thursday, September 9 at 7 p.m. and Syracuse on Sunday, September 12 at 1 p.m at Morrone Stadium.
The Huskies are coming off their first road win of the season, a 2-0 victory at Albany on Sunday, to move their record to 3-1 overall.
Jada Konte leads the Huskies with two goals on the season while seven other Huskies have registered at least a point.
Kaitlyn Mahoney is coming off her first career shutout, helping her earn BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week honors.Â
Brown enters Thursday's matchup with a 3-1 record and are winner's of three games in a row. Their last win was an impressive 2-1 triumph in Providence against Oklahoma State.The Huskies are 21-6-1 all-time against the Bears with the last matchup coming in 2019.
The Orange are 4-1 in 2021 and have won three-straight matches. UConn leads the all-time series 18-2-2 with the last matchup coming back in 2018.Â
