STORRS, Conn. - The No. 25 UConn baseball team (24-7, 3-0 BIG EAST) captured a series sweep against St. John's (11-21, 0-3 BIG EAST) with a 10-0 victory in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Elliot Ballpark.
Erik Stock hit a grand slam and drove in five as the Huskies scored double-digit runs for the fifth straight game.
Enzo Stefanoni earned his fourth win of the year with seven shutout frames on the hill with just one hit allowed.
Korey Morton produced a three-hit afternoon with a pair of RBI's while Ben Huber grabbed two hits and scored three runs for the Huskies.
The UConn pitching staff logged 18 scoreless innings to close out the series and St. John's went 17 innings without getting a runner past second base.Â
Next up, the Huskies face off against Marist at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford on Tuesday, April 12 at 6:05 p.m.
