No. 18 HookC Offense Stays Hot, Defeats Marist 15-4

HARTFORD, Conn. - The No. 18 UConn baseball team's (25-7) stayed hot with a 15-4 victory against Marist on Tuesday evening at Dunkin' Donuts Park.
The Huskies offense has scored 85 runs in the past six games.
On Tuesday, eight of the nine UConn players totaled multi-hit games en route to a 20-hit night against the Red Foxes. Casey Dana, Ben Huber and Zach Bushling all recorded three hits and scored three runs on the night.Â
Matt Donlan recorded his second five RBI game in the past four games after hitting his sixth home run of the season, a three-run homer, in the seventh inning.
David Smith drove in five runs after delivering a two-run single in the second inning and a three-run home run in the sixth.
Korey Morton notched a three-hit night, his third-straight game recording at least three hits (10-14 during that stretch).
Brendan O'Donnell (1.1 IP), Brady Afthim (1.2), Braden Quinn (1.0 IP) and Justin Willis (1.0 IP) all recorded scoreless outings for the Huskies.
Next up, UConn takes its six-game winning streak into a three-game BIG EAST series at Seton Hall beginning on Thursday, April 14 at 12 p.m.
