SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The No. 18 UConn baseball team (25-7, 3-0 BIG EAST) hit the road to face off against Seton Hall (8-23, 2-1 BIG EAST) in a three-game series beginning Thursday, April 14 at 11 a.m.
Seton Hall will have video streams for game 2 and game 3 on Saturday but due to a campus-wide power shutdown on Thursday, there will not be a stream. All three games will be on MIXLR.
The Huskies and Pirates will finish the series with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 16 at 12 p.m. because the Pirates cannot play on campus on Good Friday or Easter Sunday.
UConn enters the series with a six-game win streak that has featured 85 runs scored for the offense.
The Huskies are 41-47 all-time against the Pirates. The Huskies swept a four-game series at Elliot Ballpark against Seton Hall last season to clinch the 2021 BIG EAST regular season title.
The last trip to Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium at Owen T. Carroll Field was back in 2017. The Huskies were suppose to play at Seton Hall in 2020 but the season was shutdown due to covid.
UConn enters the series with the ninth best win percentage in the country (.781), fourth in team ERA (2.91), fourth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.83), 26th in scoring (8.1)
