STORRS, Conn. - The No. 25 UConn baseball team (20-7) put on an offensive display in a 25-6 victory against CCSU on Tuesday afternoon at Elliot Ballpark.

T.C. Simmons led the way with a five hit game that featured two triples, a solo homer, a pair of singles and five runs batted in.

Zach Bushling had a career-day at the plate with a pair of three-run homers including the first home run at Elliot Ballpark to clear the center field batter's eye. The six RBIs is the most for a Husky in a game this season.

Seven Huskies had multi-RBI and multi-hit games while every UConn starter had at least a hit.

The 23 hits for the Huskies were the most in a game since recording 22 hits against Nebraska in the 2019 Oklahoma City Regional.

The 25 runs were the most for the Huskies since scoring 20 against Presbyterian in March of 2020. It was the first time UConn reached the 25 run mark since scoring 25 against Alcorn State in 2017.

Hector Alejandro (1.2 IP), Brendan O'Donnell (1.2 IP), Ian Cooke (1.2 IP), Sam Favieri (1.0 IP) and Bobby McBride (1.0 IP) all logged scoreless outings out of the UConn bullpen.

Next up, the Huskies face Merrimack for the first time in program history on Wednesday, April 6 at 3:05 p.m.
