Summer-Rae Dobson Going Pro

STORRS, Conn. - UConn graduate student Summer-Rae Dobson from Huntsville, Ontario will be continuing her hockey career as she has officially signed a professional contract with the Buffalo Beauts of the PHF league.
"I am very excited to continue to play in the city of Buffalo with the Beauts. I'm grateful for this opportunity to grow as a player and person for these upcoming tow years. The Beauts have been a team with great character and culture, and I am so happy to call Buffalo my new home," said Dobson.
Dobson came to UConn after four very successful season at Mercyhurst. Dobson was a staple of the UConn offense this past season, playing in every game for the Huskies. As a one of the top offensive weapons for UConn, Dobson would be tied for the team lead in goals with 13 while also dishing out nine assists on the year for 22 points. Summer-Rae would finish her collegiate career playing in a total of 162 games, scoring 51 goals while dishing out 57 assists for 108 total points.
