MSOC heads to Providence on Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (7-5-1) is set for a matchup with the Providence Friars (5-4-3) this Wednesday at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm and will be streamed on FloSports.
UConn is currently in second place in the BIG EAST's East Division on nine points while Providence is tied for third place with eight points. The Huskies are coming into Saturday's match unbeaten in two of their last three games. UConn's leading goal scorer, Scott Testori ranks fifth in the BIG EAST with five goals this season. Testori was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Marquette.
Providence is coming off a big win against first place Georgetown over the weekend. The Huskies won last year's matchup with the Friars in a back and forth affair that saw Testori score the game winning goal with under a minute left in the match. UConn leads the all-time series with Providence 24-7-2.
