Huskies Set for One Game Matchup Against Providence

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's hockey team is set for a one game matchup against the Providence Friars at the Toscano Family Ice Forum Friday, October 27. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:05pm and can be streamed live on ESPN+.
UConn is coming off a 1-1 weekend against the University of New Hampshire. The Huskies fell to the Wildcats in game one by a final of 2-0 but bounced back with a convincing 4-0 win. The Huskies offense came alive during their 4-0 shutout with four different players scoring including two shorthanded goals from Jada Habisch and Kathryn Stockdale. Following the weekend, the Huskies currently have a 2-3-1 overall record and a 1-3 record in Hockey East action.
Leading the way for the Huskies is Jada Habisch who has two goals and two assists for four total points. Not far behind are five players with three total points, Ashley Allard, Kathryn Stockdale, Brooke Campbell, Riley Grimley and Coryn Tormala.
Scouting the Friars
Providence is currently coming off a 1-1 weekend against the University of Maine. Providence lost game one by a final of 4-3 but bounced back for a 3-2 win. Leading the way for the friars is Audrey Knapp who has four goals on the season.

Following the one game matchup against Providence, the Huskies will turn their attention to a home and home series against Northeastern University beginning November 3.
